Gia Schneider is the co-founder and CEO of Natel Energy. Founded in 2009, Natel develops small-scale, climate-resilient hydropower that maintains the health of watershed ecosystems and surrounding communities. Gia holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from MIT and has 20 years of experience in the energy industry, including at Accenture’s utility practice and Constellation Energy. In 2004 and 2005, Gia started the energy trading desk and carbon emissions trading desk at Credit Suisse. In her spare time, she is generally somewhere around or on water.
